No Send/Receive Option On Outlook 2003

I finally got the MAPI32.dll problelm taken care of when re-installing
Outlook 2003, with SP 1&2. Now, however, when I open up Outlook 2003, when
it first opens there is the send/receive option on the toolbar. After the
program opens completely, the option disappears, and when I also click on the
tools option there is no send/receive option either. I have an active
account, also set up at the default email account. It is a pop3 acct. I
have tried to go into the customization options and there is no send/receie
option there to add to the toolbar. Have also ran the detect & repair option
to no avail. Again, when first opening Outlook 2003, the send/receive button
shows briefly then disappears, and cannot be found or added.
What is the solution to this problem?

Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I've tried the detect and repair,
reconfiguring mail accounts, command switches, registering DLLs, but no
luck. the send/receive buttons keeps on disappearing after appearing
shortly at startup of Outlook 2003. I'm beginning to think that
installing the entire Office 2003 Suite is the only option that will fix
this, but if someone has an idea, I am willing to try it.
