No Send/Recieve at Startup

I just installed Office XP and XP Home Edition and when I
lanuch Outlook it doesn't bring in any new messages. I
have to manually click the "Send/Recieve" button to get
my messages.

Pop3 mail

Any ideas?

We have the same problem and to make it worse when I use Tools>options to change settings I click on the "test" button and outlook sends a message which we receive instantly. When I send a test message it does not come in automatically.

Click on Tools.. Options.. Send/Recieve.. Automatically check every (
minutes. Also, check the boxes for send/recieve automatically o
starup and exit
