No snap grid when performing "Edit points"

I'm using Office 2003. When I use "Edit points" to modify the
vertices of a polygon, the snap grid doesn't seem to be activated,
even though it activated when not editting points. Is there a way to
turn on the snap grid when performing "edit points"?

Thanks.

Fred,

It's really annoying isn't it :(

I don't believe there's a fix for this. The constrain SHIFT AND CTRL keys do
not work either.

Sorry and all that.

I guess calling it annoying is one way to put it.

No need to apologize on behalf of Microsoft.

Doesn't Ctrl key delete a vertex? (I'm don't have access to the
computer that has Powerpoint at the moment).

I am baffled by how this feature (the nonoptional freedom of moving
vertices without a snap grid) has been allowed to persist through the
Powerpoint releases through the years.

And it hasn't improved in 2007 either (far from it!)

Strange, isn't it? I was just griping about how the problem has
existed forever, and seems like it will exist forever too.
