I uninstalled Powerpoint 2003 and 2007. Then I removed Microsoft Standard
2003 completely from my computer which I never use, then reinstalled
Powerpoint Viewer 2007 and now I have continucous play on the powerpoint
slide shows. I was afraid when I removed Office Standard that I would
lose
Microsoft Word Processor but it seems I didn't, thank goodness because i
use
that a lot. I am not sure if I will be able to open doc files now or not
but
I hope removing Office Standard did not cause me to lose that capability.
Thanks so much for your help which steered me in the right direction to
begin
with.

I would guess that you have a trial version of PowerPoint that has
expired.
Uninstall it and then install the free PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft's
website.

Whenever someone sends me an email with PPS Slide Show, the sounds
starts
to
play, then a message comes up for me to cancel or convert by buying a
key.
Is it necessary for me to buy a key when the only thing I want to be
able
to
do is hear the sound with the slide show. The slide show will work
fine
but
I have no sound.
