no sound in web preveiw

help cant hear website music in web preveiw. i have check all settings i can find{mulitimedia etc} if i down load from web site from internet explorer i get the music. if i web preveiw in publisher no music. can i get publisher to play the music in web preveiw? if not what is the best way to preveiw sound before i ftp it to webserver? have i turned off a setting?

What music file format are you inserting?

Are you inserting it as a background sound?

Are you using IE for the preview?
