No space in a field when uppdate

When I use FrontPage and Access 2002 and make an update in
Access databas.

I put spaces i the form but when i try to list the field
with NULL I got some bad sign in the field?

Who can I solve this problem?

Spaces (" "), zero-length strings (""), and NULL are not the same. If your
database might have any of the three, you'll have to test for all three
conditions.
