No stationery from Word's "Send to" -> "Mail recipient (as attachment)"

Hi,

I have stationery set up in Outlook 2002 which works fine when I create a
new e-mail. However, when I'm in Word 2002 and try to send a document to
"Mail recipient (as attachment)", a new mail message is created but has no
stationery (the e-mail is blank). Is it possible to use stationery in this
case?

I've so far tried with a standard Outlook "theme" using Word as the e-mail
editor and installed the theme when prompted, but no luck so far. The new
e-mail seems to be HTML (as I expect would be required), but there's no
there's no Theme menu item on the Format menu.

Can anyone help please?

Regards,

Mike

No, because that mechanism doesn't use full Outlook but an API called Simple MAPI that supports only plain text.

The workaround is to create the message first using Outlook, then attach the document.
