No text color in Outlook 2003 mail

I work for an IT management solutions company and recently have come
across a problem within Outlook that I have never seen before and I am
looking for some help. Here's the situation....The user logs into a
terminal server where his Outlook 2003 account is configured. When he
composes new mail or views mail from other people he is not able to
view text in color. When he is composing mail you can change the color
but it still appears black. The recipient can view the color though.
When you send the user a an email with color text he just sees all text
as black. The others users using the terminal server do not have this
problem leading me to believe it is something within his profile. He
has also tried logging in from a different PC to verify it is nothing
related to the PC. I checked his RDP configuration to verify that he
was not connecting at 256 color. I checked to make sure Outlook was
not set to run in 256 color. Mail formatting is set to use Word. I
tried recreating the mail settings file in Application Data but that
did not work either. Short of creating a new profile for the user or
reinstalling Outlook does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem
might be?
