No toolbars or menu bar

Recently I installed a program that accessed WORD for it
word processing part. After installation, WORD no longer
has any toolbars or menu bar. It is just a blank white
screen. I have installed the problem program,
uninstalled and reinstalled office and I still do not
have any toolbars or menu bar.

Specs: windows xp, office 2000, 1.6gig processor

Hi BW,
I have 'Word 2000' installed and on that you go to 'View' and
then 'Toolbars' and tick the ones you require. Hope this is what you
are looking for.

The problem was a corrupt registry caused by the program
that was recently installed. The following fix corrected
the error in my registry and the menu bar and toolbars
reappeared.

Start menu - Run - winword.exe /a
