No Transport Provider available?

Erin

I am using Outlook 2000 on a Windows XP system. Everytime I try to send an
email out to multiple recipients, I get it bounced back with an error message
stating "no transport provider available for delivery to this recipient" or
something about the email address being deleted (which they are not. One is
my father's and I know his is working). Does anyone know how to fix this.
Please be specific, as I am computer illiterate basically and need it in
laymen's terms. Thanks

We would need a lot more information to solve this problem. That message
simply means you have entered an email address that is either invalid or
that requires a mail account type that you do not have installed in your
Outlook profile.
Accordingly, without knowing how you selected these recipients and what
email address types they contain, we cannot answer your question.
As an example, fax numbers are valid email addresses. If your "multiple
recipients" include Contacts with fax numbers but you do not have a fax
transport installed in your profile, you would get this message.
So you need to determine whether every recipient you've selected has a valid
electronic address and that you have the correct transport to handle every
address type you have selected.

one thing to check, what are you using to seperate the addresses? a
semi-colon is best.
