Two weeks ago, my boss had me switch to 'attglobal.net'
for my email.
My Outlook2000 was already set for Corporate and Workgroup.
For the past two weeks, nine times out of perhaps 200
emails that I sent, on a seemingly random basis I have
gotten a message which goes something like, "No transport
provider is available for this recipient." That is close
to the exact wording.
Last night, AT&T said a fix would be to change Outlook2000
from Corporate&Workgroup to InternetMailOnly (IMO) and
they talked me thru the change.
We made a small test and it worked.
Then, I sent an email with a 9.6MB attachment.
Outlook2000, still set for IMO, went into overload;
the .pst is so corrupted that 'scanpst.exe' cannot repair
it.
Another interesting item is since changing
to 'attglobal.net', pst file's date never changes from
12jan04, which is when I made the switch. I have gotten
hundreds of emails since then and sent out hundreds too
but it does not recognize that activity.
Help is needed badly.
