Nokia 9210/XP/PC Suite freezes

I am trying to sync contacts between Nokia 9210 Communicator (ver 4.13
(6) ) and Microsoft Outlook 2000 (9.0.0.3011).

Laptop is Compaq Evo N620C. Memory is 500 Mb.

Operating system is XP FI version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 version 2600

PC Suite FI version 2.11

Sync will freeze if I have more than 680 (about) contacts in Outlook. In
Task Manager CPU is 100 % idle when system is freezed.

When I used Windows 2000 I had no restriction like this. I had over 1000
contacts. At that time I had HP XE3 laptop and PC Suite 1.20 or
something.

What could be reason for this?
