Non accessible files

I double click on my network places to get to a folder on the server..,ie...,
Adams, after I make changes to the file, I try to save it another another
name in a different folder on the server.., ie Jackson. I get an error
message: The folder "\\server\server\jean\my documents\Article isn't
accessible. The folder may be located on an unavailible volume or protected
with a password."

This is strange because I can complete this action from a different computer
on our network.

The computer I am working on is XP Professional, the other computer is XP
Home. The file server is windows 98SE.

I am using Microsoft Word 2000.

How may this problem be solved?

Thanks

If you installed Windows update KB885250 "MS05-011: Vulnerability in
server message block could allow remote code execution", try
uninstalling KB885250 in Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.
See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=895900 "You cannot save a file
from your Windows XP-based or Windows 2000-based computer to a shared
folder on a file server" for more information.

Thanks for the reply, but removing the file KB885250 did not solve the problem.

Is there anything else I can do than would allow saving files to other
computer.
