Non Billable Project

We have 100 applications that we support in our company. Whenever a team
member works on the support call, they then require to log a time against
that applications. All the support time are non billable. So to accommodate
this requirement I did following;

Created a Project called "Support_Project "
Added 100 applications as a task
Assigned all the team members (10) to all the tasks so that all the team
member can log time against the task.

I doubted this the best solution. Can you please advice if there are any
other alternatives way.

Adding to the previous note:

I also added duration from July 2007 till June 2008 so that team can add
time against it during that period.

I assigned each team by 1%.

Another option is to add a billing category in timesheets for each application.
