Non-commercial use?

Apologies if this is a duplicated question (Mark appears to have asked a
similar question but I cannot see the response) . I have a brand new computer
with Vista and have loaded Office Small Business 2007 as the 3rd user (3
licences originally purchased and only 2 had been loaded). However all the
applications show non commercial use at the top of the screen. Please advise
what this means , the implications and how to rectify. Thanks

Sounds like there was trial software on that computer and it was not
uninstalled before installing the paid version. To fix it, uninstall all
Office software, reboot, install the paid version again.

Office Small Business 2007 only, AFAIK, allows installation on one device
and a portable device for use by the primary user of the first device. Home
and Student allows for three computer installations in the "same household"
but is for non-commercial use only.

You really need to look at the CD for the version of Office you have and if
it is, in fact Small Business you need to read the license agreement again.

The only other way to get Small Business for more than the one/one
installation is to buy a volume license and that starts at 5 computers.

My problem is identical to Christi's. So after I deinstall, then reinstall,
do I lose one license because MicroSoft didn't tell me to uninstall the Home
version before installing the Standard version?
