non contiguous cells selection and copy

When I make a selecton of non contiguoius cells using The Command key,
and when I try to copy their contents I have a message telling that
"it is impossible to execute this comand with multiple selections".
I use Excel X Release 1 under Jaguar 10.2.3 on a PowerBook PDQ 266
MHz.

That's how it is and, as far as I can remember, has always
been. It's not different with the Windows versions (as to
Excel 2000)...
