Non IE Browser with Web Server

Has anyone been able to get a Non IE Browser to work with Project Web Server?
Firefox has an extention that allows the browser to look like IE to a
server. I can get to the log in screen, so it has made it through the
browser check. However; it gets hung up in the Prereq.asp page.

Any thoughts?

I know the answer it just use IE, but I have some die hard users who can
not get beyound not using FireFox or Monzilla.

The issue is not how the browser looks, but rather how the browser handles
activeX objects. As far as I know, this limits your browser choices to IE. I
recall that there was a stand-alone client in previous versions, but it is
really just a stripped down version of IE. I suggest you talk to the Mozilla
people and ask them about adding functionality so that their browser can do
this.

If they can, then I really see no advantage to using IE at all. I use
firefox myself.

Exactly. I have the same issue with a FileNet viewer that we're using.

Nah, that's one of the advantages of FF - no ActiveX. ActiveX is baaad,
very bad.

I'd say they should suck up and use IE once in a while. Hell, I use it when
I have to, and I'm running Linux.

Long range, use something that doesn't have an ActiveX control. The world is
moving away from ActiveX anyway.
