Sometimes I use MS Word to write text-only documents that are going to
be used in environments that don't recognise the CP-1250 coding, but
only the ISO-8859-* sets.
Usually MS Words insert automatically non-ISO-8859 characters in my
documents, such as ellipsis or "curled" quotation marks, etc.
I do prevent this in the "Tools - Automatic correction" menu, but I
have to set back all the options when I turn back to write "normal"
documents.
I wonder if there is a smarter way to do it, and if it's possible to
convert a Word document in a text-only strictly ISO 8859 compliant
file. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance,
