Non working Periods for Resources

I know we can set the non working times or days for a calendar. Can we do the
same for a particular resource.e.g. when he or she takes a week's leave or
gets sick by 2 days. Would this affect the calendars of other resources?

Thank you,

Apply the Resource Sheet view in your project and then double-click the name
of the resource who is going to take vacation. Depending on which version
of Microsoft Project you are using, click the Working Time tab in the dialog
(2000-2003) or click the Change Working Time button (2007). From there, you
can enter the resource's leave time or vacation time as nonworking time.
No, this process will not affect the calendars of any other resources. Hope
this helps.

Hi Dale,

That was very helpful of you!
This certainly is a better way of putting non working periods.

Yesterday, I was doing this from "Tools\Change working time\". It changed
the working times of all the resources.
But today, it did not!
I am using Project 2003.

Thanks,
Dip.
