Non-Working time on Gant chart

R

Regis

Hi

It's me again.

Is it possible to see on the gantt Chart, the non working time for
individual resource in a different pattern and/or color.

I can see any non-working time set in the calendar as a national holidays.
But the vacation day set at the resource itself is part of the task bar.

By example, I have a resource where the task is set for one day. The date to
start that task is Friday august 6th.
Because the resource in on vacation that day, the task line cover friday and
monday august 8th.

I understand that PRJ2003 is taking into account the non-working time for a
resource but it will be nice to see the portion of the non-working time as a
different pattern and/or color.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Regis,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Yes :) Format/Timescale.../Non-working Time tab and in the Calendar box,
select the resource calendar in question.

This is explained in my series on Microsoft Project in the TechTrax ezine,
particularly at the end of #8 - Printing Reports and Views, at this site:
http://tinyurl.com/2xbhc (Perhaps you'd care to rate it before leaving the
site, :) Thanks.)

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :))
