Normal.doc

When i try to open a saved doc weatheri crated it or not i
get a "FileName.Doc no available. i can save things and
take um to other PC no problem. when i close the app i get
a seconed messige "The file Normal.dot already exists. do
you wunt to replace the existing file?" Yes, no, cancel.
first time i hit "cancel" and resulting in a save as box
to "E:\Documents and Settings\J_axx\Application
Data\Microsoft\Plantillas" so i it cancel. the app stays
open so i cose hiting "NO" the app closes and when opening
a second doc i get the same thing, this time when closing
i say yes to replaceing Normal.dot and the problem
continues. i have uninstalled rebooted and then installed
Office and get the same problem. so i am thinking i need
to uninstal then delete a Reg entey or something but no
ider witch, thats my thought to fix this though. any one
have anyone hurd of this before and know of a fix or any
other sergestions?

Hi Simon,

If you have Norton AV then in Norton Options go to the Miscellaneous
section and turn off "Enable Office Plug-in".
