normal.dot changed -keeps asking

We have a problem with normal.dot in word. A question/error message keeps
asking us to save normal.dot because it has changed???

This is annoying - and some of us that often convert 20 - 30 different wird
docs into PDF - get this message 20-30 times..... and each time = 4 mouse
clicks.....

Situation are that a few people works from diffeternt PCs and they MAY work
at 2 Pcs at the same time. normal.dot is not shared.
