Normal.dot problem

I'm opening a word document via an Access 2000
Application. When I try to close the word file I receive
a message telling I want to save the file with another
name. I say 'NO', I receive another message telling me
that "the file is currently in use by another
application or user (c:\Document and
Settings\...\Normal.dot". And when I press on the OK
button it displays the Save As screen inviting me to save
the Normal.dot file....

The problem is, before closing the word file, I'm invited
to answer to 4 or 5 questions.! Could you please help me
diagnosing this problem which will save me time and
annoyance.

Disable the Office Plug-in under Norton Anti Virus.
