I am using Word as my email editor in Outlook 2003. When I attempt to send a new email message, the line spacing is set to auto (in Outlook), which generates the apperance of double spacing, and I have to manually change the spacing (Format, paragraph, spacing) to 0 before and after the paragraph to have single spacing. This also applies to my signature which is automatically placed on all new emails I generate. I attempted to modify the normal.dot template and change the paragraph spacing from auto to 0 both before and after the paragraph, but the normal.dot template already was set to 0. Why does each new email I generate default to "auto" for line spacing, when the normal.dot template has "0"? How do I correct this double spacing problem?
