Whenever I close Word2000 (XP) I get the message

"Changes have been made that affect the global template, Normal.dot. Do you
want to save these changes?

I say NO and all's well. Except that it happens every time...


What can I do to get rid of this little nuisance?

Hi Qim,

If that is happening, there must be something that is changing the
normal.dot template. Maybe a custom toolbar or something else in an Addin
(a template in Word's startup directory). It's best to try and find out
what is causing the problem than to just block the message.
