Is there anyway to do a "SAVE AS" to save multiple e-mails (or folders) at a
time or do you have to do each e-mail individually (I have a million e-mails
& it would take forever). The method below is the method I prefer so I don't
have to open with Outlook from the CD to view the messages.... Somebody
help!! Thanks!
How to Save E-mails as normal save dialog:
Select the e-mail and go to file > save as and you will get a normal
save dialog. There are four types offered: text, html, msg and oft.
As far as I can tell the first two types strip off any attachments and
give you a text version of the message. The third type .msg is good if
you want to transfer messages by CD and open them in Outlook elsewhere,
the attachments stay with the message. The fourth type allows you to
use your message as a template for a new message. I am not too familiar
with this but again the attachments appear to be carried along with the
message.
