Are you using Word as your email editor in Outlook? (Always a bad idea.)

Yes I am using word as my email editor!! Why is it a bad idea? I thought
that was
the whole idea of this wonderful office package?

Well, you have already discovered one reason...

Here are some other things that I have noticed while browsing the
newsgroups.

Word is slow to load. Using Word as e-mail editor causes Word to do
odd things, like forgetting the files on the recently used list. There
has been an unconfirmed report that using Word as e-mail editor can
include portions of other documents along with the message. There are
other bugs.

Worst of all, using Word as e-mail editor leads to a common way of
losing documents. Specifically, you may close Word to close an e-mail
window, and Word will ask whether you want to save changes, but it is
referring to another document that you had open, not to the e-mail!

Using Word for an email editor results in you sending out HTML mail,
which many people filter out as spam.

Furthermore, Word produces wastefully verbose HTML. By using it you
mark yourself to the more condescending cognoscenti as an ignorant
bandwidth waster.

Other than that, I guess it's a fine idea...
