I formatted a 5x8 card to print on my printer and now Word is formatting every document to print as a 5x8 card. I can't get it to stop and I am a novice. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Hi Barry:

You should not have clicked "Save as Default" :)

Now you have, search for "Normal.dotm" and move it to the desktop.

Word must be quit (not just closed) when you do this. It will make a new
one when it restarts.

Cheers

Hello Su -

Since you've actually replied to an unrelated thread & provided virtually no
details I can only guess that what you're referring to is simply placeholder
text. Templates don't really have "instructions" contained with in the
documents they generate other than the occasional "Click Here" type of
direction. Simply select the placeholder content & replace it with your own.

If this isn't what you mean please post a *new* message & give specific
details as well as which template you're using.
