Hi, I want to use not just a single font but my own Word Quick Style
Set as my Outlook email template. I created one and saved it as
NormalEmail.dotm (because it has a macro too), but it doesn't seem to
be taking. I exited Outlook before saving it, and restarted Outlook
afterward, but when I open a new email, it is not using that
template.
I used the same template as Normal.dotm (for Word) and it works fine:
when I open a new Word doc, it uses my template.
I even tried adding the word "test" to both templates as text on the
page (so I could be sure if the template was working). When I open
the Word doc from Normal.dotm, I get a doc with the word "test" in
it. When I open a new email, it doesn't have either the proper
formatting or the word "test". QED
I'm puzzled.
Anyone have any idea why my NormalEmail.dotm (in the templates folder,
of course) isn't used when creating a new Outlook email?
Thanks,
Doug
