Normalizing Data

Ryan

I have a bunch of data related to ambient temperature
spread across multiple workbooks and taken at different
times of the day, i.e: different ambient temperatures.
So the question is, how do I normalize the data to say an
ambient temp of 30°C, I have never done this before and I
am struggleing with it. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks

Ryan,

You would absolutely need to have actual ambient temperature data to normalize your data, since it is related to ambient
temperature. And you would need to know how your measured variable responds to changes in ambient temperature - a calibration curve
would be ideal. Otherwise, if the response of the variable to temperature is predictable by known mechanisms (like radiational
cooling being related to the difference of the temperatures raised to the 4th powers.....) you could use appropriate formulas.
