Hi,

I can not seem to find the purpose of the order subtotal qry in the
Northwind database which I think shipped with version 2003

It's used by the 'Employee Sales by Country' query, the 'Sales by Year'
query, and the RecordSource properties of the 'Sales Analysis Subform1' and
'Sales Analysis Subform2' forms.

I obtained this information using the 'Object Dependencies' feature
(right-click the query in the database window and choose 'Object
Dependencies ...' from the pop-up menu.

The 'Object Dependencies' feature requires that the 'Track name AutoCorrect
info' option be enabled. This option is considered by many to be detrimental
to the stability of Access, so you may wish to turn it off afterwards. To
enable or disable the option, choose 'Options' from the 'Tools' menu and
select the 'General' tab.
