My computer runs on windows 2000. Norton Security expired and I renewed it
online (bought the download version). when I click on Norton's icon to
install the renewal/upgrade, an error message pops up saying: This product
requires a 32-bit edition of Windows xP. For upgrades or service pack
contact Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/windows. the existing Norton copy
is 2005, and hte upgrade is 2007. I click on MS website and it was all about
Windows Vista and Explorer 7. any suggestions?

Not an Office problem - suggest you duke it out with the miserable Norton support.
