Norton Anti-Virus scans of Word documents

Since I installed Norton Anti-Virus 2004, it requests a virus scan every time
I open the program and when I open every individual file. I don't want this
feature, but I can't find out from Symantec how to disable it.

In NAV, disable the Office Plug-In.
