Norton antispam has disappeared

I

influential

On a new Packard Bell PC, had Outlook 2003 and Norton's Anti-Spam software
nicely synched up (as well as other Norton protection software).

One day Outlook crashed, and the resulting error seemed to imply it had a
disagreement with Norton's integrated Anti-Spam software.

Now, the "This is Spam" and "This isn't Spam" type buttons have disappeared
from their toolbar, and it no longer shifts dodgy emails into the Norton
folder. Incoming emails still have their subject line tainted with "Norton
AntiSpam", so something is working.

Don't want to reinstall Outlook particularly, but wondered if anyone had
come across this before.

Any help appreciated.

Sounds more like a Norton issue. I'd uninstall the SPAM software, then
reinstall to see if you get the buttons and usage back that you had before.

It wouldn't surprise me. Norton tools are well-known for not playing well
with Outlook.

Try reinstalling Norton.
