Norton Security screen

Each time that I click on the Norton Security Icon ALL icons on the desktop
increase in size [almost doubled]. Then, when I access Security, then
Firewall, the display takes more vertical space than is available, to the
point that I cannot read the bottom line and cannot click on options on the
bottom line. Any ideas?
Can I simply remove Norton Security and get them to download the program
again. I am going to call Norton and e-mail [their support group are
difficult to reach on the telephone], and will the newly downloaded program
correct the problem? "Thanks
