Norton worm alert during FP publish, doesn't complete

Help! I've been using FP for years, updating my site weekly or more often.
I've changed NOTHING. the publish address, options, etc. are unchanged. But
suddenly yesterday I cannot publish - server times out. Today, I'm getting a
Norton Worm alert about a worm supposedly incoming to FP, following which the
publish operation times out.

I fear turning Norton Worm completely off, but... is that what I need to do?
Is this what's changed? Or has something changed in MS FP??

Help!
