Go to the properties of the website in IIS and find the path - open IIS,
right-click on the site, click Properties, click the Home Directory tab.
That should be where the web.config is located.

Hi Daw,
thanks a lot..it did work out. but i am now facing another problem.
i am able to access the form from the same machine which has the formserver
and infopath installed. but when i try to access the form from a different
machine which dont have the infopath i am getting a error message saying
"There has been error loading the form" .
If i click the show details it says "This form template is not currently
browser-enabled. It must either be republished as a browser-enabled form, or
opened using Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 (Beta)."
But i checked my template's Browser compatibility settings. I have Checked
the option "Design a FormTemplate that can be opened in a browser or InfoPath"
Even them i am not able to access the form.
Need help regarding this

TIA

When you create a form, there is a checkbox called "Enable browser-compatible
features only". Was that checked when you created the form?

Go to Form Options, Programming. If the Remove Code button is not grayed
out, that means that you have code behind the form which does not work with
browser-compatible forms. Click Remove Code to remove the code.
If that doesn't work, there may be other things within the form that are not
compatible. I would suggest creating a new form (with the checkbox checked).
You may even want to create a short form and test it just to make sure that
there aren't any other issues outside of Infopath.
Hope that helps!

Hello Friends,

I did all the step to make my form Browser enabled, but still my form
is opening in Infopath not in browser.

I am using Office 2007 Beta version with Sharepoint Enterprise edition.
I have un-commented the line in Web.config
I have made trust level to Domain
I have checked Remove Code state which is disabled
I have enabled the Forms Services feature
Design Checker show no error.

Please tell me what will be the next solution for this problem.

Regards,
Raj

On the design tasks you should go to design checker and verify the form
on the server you are uploading it to. This should show you any error
that you are getting. If there are no errors your form should be good
to open in browser mode.

Also, you could check the trust level of the form. If it is set to
restricted then you need to set it to domain.

Lastly, where I have become unstuck before is the FormServer feature is
not activated on the Site Collection. You just need to go to the Site
Collection Settings and view the features, it should tell you if the
FormServer Feature is activated.
