Not able to create or send new messages

My Send, Forward, Reply buttons are all grayed out. There seem to be know
problems with my settings or server connections. Any idea why and how to fix?

Sounds like you haven't activated your version of Outlook yet.
You probably can now longer create a new document in any other Office
application of your bought Office Suite either?

My computer came with Windows Mail. This is an older version of Outlook.

My computer came with Windows Mail. This is an older version of Outlook.
Windows Mail is not an older version of Outlook but a completely different
mail client that ships with Windows Vista.

Which mail client are you using and which version of it?
Use Help-> About to determine this.

Hmm. You're using Vista. What version of Outlook? It may be related to
installing it on Vista. See http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm for
known issues with older versions.
