Not able to delete jobs from the Manange Queue page

Whenever i try to update the permissions under the "My Projects" category, i
see the job with the following data

Job Type: - User Synchronization for Project Web Access App Root Site and
Project WSS Workspaces
Job State: - Failed But Not Blocking Correlation

When i click the link to get the error details, this is what i see

If i try to delete these jobs, i cannot because, the option to delete the
job from the queue is greyed out. Please let know the needful so that i can
delete these jobs off from the queue.

You cannot delete jobs from the queue. But more importantly, here is no
need to delete these jobs as they have failed but are not blocking anything.
It is just annoying to see the error in the queue but the default queue view
only shows the jobs from the current date so if you go into the manage queue
page tomorrow, those jobs will not show by default.
