Not able to import Excel Files into Access

Hi,

I am a business analyst who used Office 2003 for years and liked it. I
upgraded to Office 2007 and have regretted it so much that I uninstalled it
and reinstalled my Office 2003 CD. The problem is that I am no longer able
to import records from Excel in Access. I can export them from Access to
Excel and I can import Acess tables from one DB to another Access DB. Short
of uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2003 (and running all of the
updates), is there something I can do to repair this? I tried the repair
procedure for Access and Excel but the categoreis were very broad. There
was nothing for reinstalling the import/export aspect of the programs.

Can anyone help?

restore point that was
made right before the
office 07 installation.

if so, then this would
be a good thing to try.
