Not able to re-enter product key

Hi there.... i entered a product key into my microsoft pre installed
excel.....unfortunatley it wasnt the correct one and had been used before. I
have now found the correct product key...but i dont have the option of
re-entering it. 2 options come up... *i want to activate the software online*
and * i want to activate the software by telephone* The first option stops
and tells me the product key has been used before......the second option asks
for confirmation code!! I have many assignments in.....help needed
asap!!!!!!!!!!!

You have a Trial version of Excel or a Office Suite. You need to purchase a Retail
version. Your issue stems from trying to activate a Trial version which has expired
