Not able to reopen a saved infopath template in design mode

I saved an infopath template then tried to open it design mode and got the
following error: Microsoft Infopath cannot open the selected form. I was
able to create 3 or 4 templates and they open okay. I am using a trial
version of Infopath

There are some cases where using certain features - Conditional Formatting
and Repeating nodes bound to Non-repeating controls - can cause your form to
become unopenable. Do either of these sound familiar, or is there something
else that you did right before saving?

I am using conditional formatting and repeating nodes bound to non-repeating
controls. I will change the controls to repeating and see if that helps.
