Not all Projects Viewable

M

mike

Hello, looking to be pointed in the right direction here.

Users in the Project Managers group are seeing more or less projects.
There is no RBS setup, and they are only set to one Group Project
Mangers.

In looking at the security settings for PM's, the View Project Center
and View Project Workspaces are selected. Why would they not be
seeing all projects?

--PS. i confirmed that they are not on a view like "Owned Workspaces"

Thanks

By default, members of the Project Managers group can see their own projects
in Project Server 2003 or 2007. If you need every PM to see all projects in
the system, open the My Projects category for editing and select the "All
current and future projects" option in the Projects section. Hope this
helps.

Thanks Dale. With this selection, they can then only view other PM's
proejcts, correct, not edit? MY other option was to add them to the
Executive Group who only have view permissions.

No, my solution allows them to open, edit, and save every project. So, I
guess you shouldn't use my solution. Try your solution instead, based on
your own project management needs. Hope this helps.
