Not all tables and queries are listed when selecting a data sourc.

In Word, from the Tools menu, select Options and then on the General tab,
check the box against "Confirm conversions at open" and then when you attach
the data source, you will be given a number of options for how the
connection to the data source should be made. One of those will probably
give you access to what you want.
