Not all task showing in PWA Resource Assignments

We're using Project Server 2003.

When I view a project with either the Project 2003 Office application, or
view it under Projects in PWA, I see all of the tasks.

But when I go to PWA Show Resource assignments, I don't see all of the tasks
for that project even though I am not using a filter.

As a test, I saved one of the affected projects to a file (.mpp), Deleted
the project under Admin|Cleanup the Project Server Database, and then
republished the project. Now I can see all tasks under Show Resource
assignments!

Many of my projects are so affected -- what could be the problem?

Is there a way to get all the tasks to show under Show Resource Assignments
without having to go back an delete+republish my projects?

Thanks!

Resource assignments only show up in PWA when the assignments have actually
been published (Collaborate - Publish - New and Changed Assignments). When
you save a project in the Project Server database, but do not publish the
project, the project is visible in the Project Center and detailed Project
views, but the assignments are not visible. It's really confusing, but
that's how it works. Hope this helps.

Dale,

Thanks for your comments. When I do Collaborate - Publish - New and Changed
Assignments for thes projects, I am notified that there are no new or
changed items to publish. Shouldn't Republish All work? It doesn't seem
to.

Do I have any other alternative than to delete the projects from the server
and then completely republish them as if they were new?

Thanks!
