Not currently configured

I have installed a new hard drive. Using my old one as a
slave. When I try to start any of my office products it
gives me the error "The operating system is not presently
configured to run this application." I had a fire and
lost some of me cd's including my Office XP cd. Is there
a way I can tell my machine to look for the activation
information.

You will need to install the applications for them to run. Using the old
hard drive as a slave does not put the required files in the appropriate
places (C:'\Windows, etc.) to run. To reinstall the applications, your will
need the CDs. You can probably find your product ID needed for installation
using http://www.magicaljellybean.com and look for the keyfinder
application. It can pull your Office XP CD PID from the slave hard drive so
you will have it for the reinstallation

You will also need the media to reinstall. If it came with your PC, contact
the OEM. IF it is a retail version, you can contact Microsoft for
replacement media.
