not enough disk space

i dont know if this is the second time i have post this or
not but here goes ------- i keep getting not enought disk
space to run word and then it says winword has performed
and illegal operation and then it says it cannot find that
document but it does that on all documents i have run a
scan disk a virus scan and taken some things off the
computer i have 3.93gb left on my computer so i should
have enough space to open these documents so now what
