not enough memory to print

When trying to open Word or Powerpoint presentations, i
get the message:
error
Not enough memory to print

Running Office 4.3 on a Pentium I with 1 GB HD and 135 MB
free space. Shouldn't that be enough?

As you said before, a dinosaur; and we all know were dinosaurs are to be
found.
Not clutered up by *.tmp files, or lost cluster files?

Thanks for your interest. The old beast used to work. I
want to use it to store limited information, but can't get
it to open.

I've cleared the temp and internet and history files.

Anything I can do short of uninstall Office, and worse, re-
format the HD?

You really dont want to let the old friend go?
Are there any other non critical apps you can uninstall?
You sure your win or root directory does'nt contain any lost cluster files?
You may be able to get a small, less than 9gb, hd, second user on Ebay or
similar. Install as slave, move yr swap file and or data files to this. I've
done this on an old Pentium with a 4.3gb hd.
Other than that.......... theres a world out there of later systems, be
bold,explore.
