Not Enough Memory?

While using Word, I keep getting an error message that reads, "There is not
enough memory or disk space to display or print the picture." Then, the
horizontal line that I imported goes away. Is there a fix for this chronic
problem? Any help would be appreciated. J. R.

Have the same problem. This does not happen in WordPerfect and appears to be
a problem inherent with Word. One workaround in the Microsoft data base from
2001 relates to Word 2000. It says to past as "Unformatted Unicode Text" e.g.
click on paste Special in the edit menu or paste as an HTML format. A third
option that is not mentioned is to switch to WordPerfect. Too bad we cannot
just contact soemone at Microsoft about this. I would like to continue
working with Word.
