Not enough memory

Hello,
I have just installed the latest version of DirectX from
the Microsoft website. When i restarted the computer, it
gives me an error message "This progra has performed an
illegal operation" while executing the UPS Ship Online
Program at startup. I Closed the box and after the UPS
execution is done, i executed the Access Application and
then it said "There is not enough memory to perform this
operation" or something like that. When i clicked OK and
re-executed the Access Application, it executed well. The
operating system i am using is Windows 98 and using
Microsoft Network, there are 5 computers attached to this
network. The access database is connected to SQL Server so
all the tables in the Access application are Link tables.
